Ithaca, NY Home Improvement Services
Ithaca is a hillside college town at the southern tip of Cayuga Lake, home to Cornell University, Ithaca College, and neighborhoods full of older homes on steep, tree-lined streets. Winters here bring heavy snow, ice, and repeated freeze-thaw cycles, while shaded lots keep roofs and siding damp long after a storm passes. Graves Brothers has protected Upstate New York homes for over four decades, and here is how we can help yours.
Roof Repair & Roof Replacement
Whether it is a leak that shows up after a snowmelt or a full tear-off on an aging roof, our roofing team handles repairs and replacements all year round. We work with asphalt shingles, metal roofing, cedar shakes, EPDM rubber, and TPO systems for homeowners, rental property owners, and businesses.
Siding Repair & Siding Replacement
Moisture, shade, and cold winters take a toll on siding. Our contractors repair and replace vinyl siding, stone veneer, fiber cement, and specialty materials, giving your home a fresh exterior while improving insulation and value.
Gutter Replacement
On Ithaca's hills, runoff moves fast. Damaged or clogged gutters send that water into your foundation, fascia, and landscaping. We install and replace gutters and offer gutter protection systems that keep water moving away from your home without the seasonal cleaning.
Windows & Doors
New windows and doors keep out drafts, improve energy efficiency, and boost curb appeal. Our team helps you choose the right products and handles a smooth, professional installation from start to finish.
See What Ithaca, NY Homeowners Are Saying
I especially want to thank Bobby Flaherty, the On-site supervisor. He is such a responsible, patient, and hardworking young man. I am a very particular person and pay close attention to even the smallest details, so I know I can be a little picky! But Bobby is always patient with me, listens carefully to what I want, and does his very best to make sure I am satisfied. I really appreciate that.
I also want to thank Adam Breehl, the Service Manager, for personally coming to my home to understand and help resolve any issues that came up during the project. It meant a lot to me that he took the time to make sure everything was going well.
Thank you as well to Brendon Fraczek, the technician, for doing such careful and detailed work. He worked on my home as if it were his own, and that kind of care really shows.
And thank you to Aaron Wight, the Sales Representative, for providing such a clear and detailed estimate. Throughout the entire project, the communication between Aaron, Bobby, and Brendon was excellent. Everyone was on the same page, which made the whole process much easier and gave me peace of mind.
I am truly grateful to the entire team. They are professional, caring, and take pride in their work. I highly recommend Graves Brothers Home Improvement and would gladly use them again for any future home improvement projects!
Sheathing on the side of my house and put up new siding. He was professional and personable. Highly recommend!!
Jon and Will came out and after a thorough review of the roof showed me several problems with my 20+ year roof.
So we discussed the complete reroofing job, peel off and replacement. We agreed upon a price and scheduled the job.
Jake showed up at 7am and went over the whole process of the workwith me. The crew, the materials and the dumpster soon showed up and the work began. They worked efficiently and finally at about 5pm they were done. The yard was cleaned up nicely and the new roof, GAF shingles, looked beautiful.
50 year guarantee on the GAF shingles and 25 year workmanship guarantee.
Affordable price.
Happy customers 😀
I recommend Graves Brothers Home Improvements to everyone. A great company to work with. We'll use them again if we need to.
